The resort faces The Venetian across Las Vegas Boulevard, and a pedestrian bridge takes you over the road. The little tram that once ran next door to The Mirage stopped in June 2024, a few weeks before The Mirage itself closed in July 2024 so the site could be rebuilt as a Hard Rock resort. Reports say the tram should return when that project opens, so treat it as unavailable until the hotel says otherwise and plan to walk along the boulevard instead.

Which months suit each stay?

Each place has its own rhythm. Las Vegas is mild in spring and autumn and very hot in midsummer. Black Hawk is cool all year and can see snow from autumn into spring. Missouri has humid summers and cold snaps in winter, while Baton Rouge is warm for most of the year and wettest in late summer.

Which airport, and then what?

Treasure Island is a short taxi or rideshare from LAS. Black Hawk needs a car or a pre-booked shuttle from DEN. Both Missouri properties are easy drives from STL and MCI, and Baton Rouge is closest to BTR. Each property can tell you whether it arranges a shuttle or private transfer.

What age must I be to hold the room?

Policies differ by property and by state, and some use 21 rather than 18. We do not list a fixed figure, so check it with the property before paying a deposit.

Will there be charges beyond the room rate?

Often, yes. Resort fees, parking, taxes and card holds can all appear at checkout. Las Vegas resorts in particular add a daily resort fee. Ask for the full total when you book.

Are these stays suitable for children?

Some areas of casino resorts are closed to minors and certain pools are adults only. Families should ask each hotel which spaces younger guests can use.
