About this guide

Lunentra is a small reference site. It covers eighteen hotels in four categories and keeps every entry to the same shape, so that two places can be read against each other without the writing getting in the way.

How the hotels were chosen

The list was fixed before the writing began: four capsule houses, four winter sites, six hotels in older buildings and four Canadian resort complexes. Each one is open and can be visited. No hotel asked to be included, and none can pay to be.

Where the information comes from

Entries are written from hotel and operator sites, from maps, and from published material about the buildings. Where a detail could not be confirmed in a public source, the sentence was rewritten so that it holds without it. Where a house is one address of a chain, or a separate site of an operator, the entry says so in the opening paragraph.

What the site does not carry

There are no prices, no star classifications, no room counts, no ratings and no reviews. There are no booking links and no paid placements. The gaming floors of the Canadian complexes are not described. Nothing here is a recommendation, and nothing promises weather, access or availability.

Updating and corrections

Each entry carries the month it was last read against its sources. Buildings change, seasons change what is open, and operators change what they offer. If something here no longer matches what you found, write to us through the contact page and say which entry it is.
